Description Create a unique useful and beautiful bucket bag that you will carry everyday. Someone is sure to stop you and ask where you got it and you can proudly answer I made it! (don’t forget to tell them where you got it.) The needlepoint area of the bag is the full middle portion as shown. The stitching area measures 7.5″ x 25″ on your choice of 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. The bag when completed will measure 10”h x 8.5 ”w x 4.5”d. When your needlepoint is stitched send it back to us for the finisher to add fabric along the top and a bit on the bottom underneath the stitching area, a lining, the leather drawstring to cinch closed and the leather crossbody or shoulder strap as shown that is securely connected to the sides of the bag as shown. You can also request at time of finishing for a bottom inside to make it stand upright. This kit will include the canvas and all the silk/merino wool blend or all silk threads needed to complete. We offer in this instance silk/wool instead of all wool, as the blend is more durable and the wool can pill. However, if you want wool only, please include that in your note. The finishing costs are separate once completed. Please indicate your mesh and thread preference in the note section at checkout just before submit order. Choose rich blue or black with the white silk. In the background of this particular image the background was left unstitched. You can do the same or stitch with a continental stitch. There’s a lot of opportunity to use some specialty stitches and follow the pattern. We will be happy to provide suggestions.
