Description Adapted from an antique Mola pattern, this beautiful travel bag is the largest of our needlepoint bags. Finished size measures a generous 28″ w x 18.5″ high with an 8″ bottom – creating a perfect long weekend bag or use as a small suitcase that you can carry. We show it as a finished “carpet” bag or travel bag – the full canvas is folded in half lined with a material of your choice and handles of your choice (long leather straps ideal). However, you can use it for whatever purpose you wish. Kit includes the canvas and all the appropriate silk/merino wool blend or silk threads to help complete. If you want to finish it as a travel bag, the leather straps are available at Art Needlepoint or you can supply your own. Send it back to us when completed and we will have our finisher do the final touches for you. Please indicate in the Notes section at Checkout if you would like a 14, 16 or 18 mesh. Also available in a larger size. Please indicate your thread choice in the Notes section at Checkout just before submit order. We will send the 14 count if you do not provide a preference.
