Harebell Weekender Needlepoint Canvas by William Morris

Description Harebell, by well known textile designer William Morris. is an easy continuing pattern that was used as wallpaper, which will make a beautiful bag. You will have great fun stitching this 18″ x 30″  mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.  Colorful and wonderfully detailed – invites all tent or a combination of stitches, and we are happy to suggest some stitches to embellish certain areas with small stitches.  This bag is modeled on the old “carpet” bag and can be used as an everyday tote and yet roomy enough to fill for a weekend getaway.  We show the full canvas, which gets folded in half to make a 18″ x 15″ bag so you can see the beautiful pattern in full.  The canvas gets blocked, then lined with a material of your choice and handles of your choice (long leather straps ideal). We are happy to select appropriate wool or silk threads to help complete.  Our finisher will have it put together as a bag for you.  Available on 14, 16 or 18 mesh.
