Description William Zorach, born in Lithuania and lived in Bath Maine in his later years. He was an American sculptor, painter, printmaker, and writer. He won the Logan Medal of the Arts in 1927.Better known as a sculptor; in both his paintings and sculpture used simplified geometric forms in his figural groups, he was able to capture the love and affection in human relationships. He frequently used his family, friends, and pets as models, drawing on his own life to portray universal human experiences. Kennebec River in Maine is a delightful example of his fondness for nature.  Measures 9″ x 13.5″- as the smaller of several sizes – on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.  We are happy to select and add pretty, easy-to-use threads needed to complete.  Please indicate your mesh preference the note section at checkout just before submit order.
