Description Theo van Rysselberghe was an important Belgian painter, helping to define neo Impressionistic style in Europe in the late 1800’s. His subjects are mostly women with soft serene colors but he also painted a variety of landscapes both large and small, soft and vibrant. La Couseuse or The Seamstress is beautifully detailed without being overly complicated. Lovely in silk threads. Measures 14″ x 17″ on 14, 16, or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.
