Description Rococo was an influential art movement otherwise known as “Late Baroque” that affected many aspects of art and design, including architecture and furniture. This magnificent painting of a Rococo chair with characteristic curves and ornateness by Matisse is perhaps one of his lesser known works, but beautiful nonetheless.
