Description Composition IV was painted in 1911 and is the fourth of a series of paintings by Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky. The paintings he entitled Compositions explore the artist’s attempts to represent the structure and form of music through the medium of painting.  We love the vibrancy of the colors and the shapes in this canvas.  The vibrancy is best suited for silk threads which we are happy to select and add to help complete.  Though you can do any of the tent stitches for this remarkable work and it will look great, you can also add some decorative stitches to certain areas to highlight particular shapes or areas.
